Hi all - Dyana's Daughter Sara is writing this on her behalf...
I finally heard from Dyana this morning in UGANDA – can you believe it? She is doing well and sounded very happy. Unfortunately the internet connection is not good at all – she was able to logon for a few moments but could not access her email. Another missionary is going to try a new broadband service so hopefully internet will be more accessible soon.
Dyana said it is the dry season right now and extremely hot (hotter than she remembers)! They are patiently awaiting the rainy season to come soon to help cool down. The living quarters in the clinic are not complete yet so she is staying in the home of the orphanage directors. She is staying very busy getting settled and today she is helping the orphanage Doctor.
Today I have the closing of her home scheduled for 2:30 – I hope and pray that everything goes smoothly. On Sunday Betty W. helped us finish cleaning out the garage! Thank you Betty for lending us your truck and extra storage space!
A BIG THANK YOU to all of you! You have all been such wonderful supportive friends throughout this major transition in Dyana’s life. She was extremely busy (and scatter brained) during the last few weeks. She had all intentions of writing you thank-you letters for all your well wishes, donations and friendship. Please know that your thoughtfulness will always be cherished!
